Hello from Mr. and Mrs. DIY - aka Charles and Rochelle!

Thanks for stopping by our neck of the D.I.Y. woods.  Are you a fellow home renovator? Do you have to keep to a budget? Are you also an expert bargain hunter? Do you love dogs (and maybe even cats)?  Are you creative with an unquenchable desire to customize your home and belongings?  Well we're not sure what brought you into the D.I.Y. community, but we're happy to have you here.

We're a Match.com cliche living out our happily-ever-after in the shadows of the Colorado Rocky Mountains in the Denver suburb of Wheat Ridge.  We never saw ourselves as "burb" folks but this community is tucked between the big city and the big mountains, which has turned out to be pretty much a perfect combination for us.

We purchased this tri-level home in the Fall of 2016, it's our second fix-er-upper but at least twice the size as our first.  So while we come at this home with a little bit-a experience, a lot of this is still brand new.

We hope you enjoy our journey, maybe glean and idea or two (or three) for yourself, and come back to our corner of the D.I.Y. neighborhood frequently.  As the iconic Mr. Rogers asked, "Won't you be my neighbor?"
